BioThey call me MISTER Craig. Or Ally, whatever. I live in a tedious, isolated village in Oxfordshire and I don't know what I'd do without the Internet. I make music with dissonant guitars and awkward rhythms, both alone and with my band Bug Prentice.
I spend most of my time listening to music, watching films or thinking about either. I am passionate about jazz -- my favourites include the angular piano-bashing of Thelonious Monk, the desperate questing of John Coltrane and the all-encompassing humanity of Charles Mingus. Artists that directly inspire by own music include Shellac and Deerhoof.
My favourite film is The Apartment, and I'm a sucker for any old Hollywood stuff with fast-talkin' guys and glamorous dames. Of course life shouldn't really be like that, but it's fun in the movies, right?
